November is here and so are the beginning of runny noses, sore throats, and Flu Vaccine advertisements. It seems as though vaccines are becoming a hot topic now a days, it is one of the most controversial topics in the healthcare field. As someone who is passionate about health, I wanted to find out the facts for myself, and it amazes me how much information is withheld from general knowledge. I doubt most doctors know what most vaccines consist of, sure the ¨main intentions¨ of a vaccine are good, but unfortunately it isn´t that plain and simple. We can´t just get poked with a needle and all of a sudden have super powers that protect us from all harm. Sadly, that is what is conveyed most of the time, and to the general population who looks to doctors as an all knowing, all perfect being, they will listen to anything they are told and follow orders given.
